Halloween with The Biscuiteers

When I was younger Halloween was one of my favourite nights of the year. I wasn't allowed trick or treating as my parents didn't approve, but we still used to celebrate in our own way by carving pumpkins, eating halloween cakes and sweets and watching scary films together as a family. As I've grown up, I feel like I've grown out of Halloween. Most of my friends still love dressing up and going for wild nights out in town, but these I'm more of a 'get into my pjs and watch a film' type of girl on the spookiest night of the year. The Biscuiteers are a company I've heard so much about and have longed to try over the last few months and last week I had an email asking if I would like to try their new Halloween range.

The Biscuiteers was founded by Harriet Hastings and her husband Stevie Congdon and launched online in September 2007. Their mission statement was simple - 'why send flowers when you can send biscuits instead' and the company immediately began to flourish. Since their launch back in 2007, the Biscuiteers have worked with many leading names in fashion including collaborations with Anya Hindmarch, Mulberry, Swatch and Burberry as well as a limited edition tin to celebrate Selfridges' 100th birthday and bespoke biscuits for the launch of Harvey Nichols 4th floor. When it comes to gifting biscuits and special occasions, there's clearly no-one better than the Biscuiteers.

The Biscuiteers have an extensive Halloween collection from finely decorated Sugar Candy skulls, to personalised halloween tins. They also have a Scooby Do collection and spooky Halloween cupcakes. The set shown above is the Halloween Big Biscuit Card*. Inside the illustrated box there are five classic Halloween characters - the wicked witch, Frankenstein, a Ghost, a Mummy and of course Dracula. The box retails at £20 and is the perfect gift for adults looking to unleash their inner child on halloween or subtly add a bit of Halloween madness to their household like myself who isn't a massive fan of the day, but still wants to celebrate. These would also make perfect gifts for a children's halloween party.

I was super impressed by the quality of these biscuits and I have shown them to everyone who has come to my house. The biscuits have such a wonderful charm about them - you can tell they are made with precision and care, it will be hard resisting these until Halloween.

If you fancy winning a box of these for yourself, all you have to do is fill out the form below. The giveaway is open to those over 18 years old and live in the UK.
